About pilot area:

“Biodistrict of central-eastern Venice” (BIOVENEZIA), covers the area Cavallino-Treporti to San Michele al Tagliamento and the border of Treviso to the Adriatic Sea. With 19 founding members it promotes organic production and supports local identity, research and training. BIOVENEZIA now includes ~50 organic farms while most wineries incorporate naturalistic elements.
