By piro-weeding vineyards using instantaneous heat with a flame machine with torches, vineyards are cleared of weeds without the use of chemical herbicides and pesticides. In the first year of use, 3 or 4 interventions are necessary 20/30 days apart to see a lasting effect and in the following years, two interventions are sufficient. “Pyro weeding” should always be carried out with damp vegetation, after rain or in the morning if dew is present, and it is inappropriate to use it in case of too dry vegetation due to the danger of starting fires.
